Bike Club
Purpose
At McClintock High School, we believe bikes are vehicles for empowerment and education. Our Bike Club is dedicated to fostering a community of young cyclists who are passionate about biking, learning mechanical skills, and making a difference!
What We Do
Every Friday at 2:30 PM, the wheels start spinning at the McClintock Bike Club, where we embrace the first rule of Bike Club: "You do talk about Bike Club." Here’s the rundown of our pedal-powered pursuits:
Bike Repair and Maintenance: Get into gear with us as we teach you to wrench like a pro. Our members don’t just ride; they thrive by gaining the mechanical skills and confidence to keep their bikes in prime condition. It's like “Pimp My Ride,” but for bikes.
Community Service: Our mission shifts into high gear as we cruise beyond campus, lending our skills to local community organizations and nonprofits. Whether it's tuning up bikes for the Welcome to America Project or overhauling rides for the Tempe Bicycle Action Group’s youth fleet, our work ensures that bikes roll out ready and reliable.
Education and Safety Outreach: We're more than just grease monkeys. Spreading the word on bike safety, we gear up to teach the little tykes of Tempe how to strap on their helmets and roll out safely. It’s all about preparing the next generation of freewheelers to cycle safely and joyfully.

Support our Mission
Our club rides on the trail of generosity from donors and the fuel of volunteer spirit. Here’s how you can throw us a lifeline:
Financial Contributions: Gear up our club with your donations! Your contributions pump up our ability to snag new tools, parts, and the coolest safety gear.
Equipment & Bike Donations: Got an old steed gathering dust in the garage? Extra tools? Spare parts? Donate it to our club! We’ll refurbish bikes to new glory for community use, or as live training modules for our club members.
